  • 'A11 Fusion' in iPhone X appears to be a six core processor, according to iOS 11 leak [u]

You guys can't resist putting all the spoilers in the headlines. Instead of a headline like "Leak provides new insight into A11 chip" you just dumped the equivalent of "Leak reveals Darth Vader is Luke's father in Star Wars sequel" right in the headline. Is that really necessary? Can't you put the spoilers in the article and tag it with "potential spoiler"? I would only apply that to information that came from firmware leaks, stolen Apple prototypes--any asset that came form Apple, Inc. Hearsay, analyst musings, and unreliable reports from third parties still fall into rumor category, but this is not. You are obviously treating all info gleaned from the iOS 11 leak as fact, so you know it is not the same category as a Ming-Chi Kuo sourced story.
    He is ????????

  • Google could pay Apple up to $3B to hold default search status on iPhones

But iOS has such a minuscule worldwide market share vs Android. It’s almost as if iOS doesn’t even exist. Why would Google even care?
ROFL, 'as if iOS doesn't even exist'  too funny, $815 Billion and counting  and the anti-Apple folks would tell you Apple is risky as it's all too dependent on iPhones, which in case you haven't noticed run iOS. So I suspect iOS exists big time.  You know the odd thing is as I travel I hardly ever see an Android device.  Sit in most US airports and it's a sea of glowing Apples on Mac laptops and iPhones and iPads wall to wall.  It's as if Android doesn't even exist. ;)
C'mon. Apple is always being dissed by Wall Street and the news media as constantly losing market share to Android OS on a daily basis. Google is laughing so hard at iPhone's sickly 2% market share in India and unbelievably Apple is going to continue losing market share to Android OS in India. All Wall Street ever talks about is the iPhone's dwindling market share leading to the ruination of Apple. It's downright sickening listening to that BS day in and day out. So, yes, I'm a bit surprised Google is paying money to Apple when Wall Street is saying iOS doesn't even matter and its days are numbered. It's Google that has that fat P/E equating future revenue growth and not Apple. I still wish Apple would acquire DuckDuckGo and if Google wants to keep paying Apple at that point, then maybe Apple does have some edge Wall Street is deliberately ignoring.
Once in a while, Wall Street talks about Apple's 90%+ share of smartphone profits, $260 billion of cash, and $800+ billion valuation.

  • Google extended $30B takeover offer to Snap in 2016, may still be open to deal - report

Holy fuck, $30,000,000,000 for an app that people might move away to something else and stop using in a couple years or less. It does absolutely nothing unique that anyone else can't replicate.  Incredible.
Plus Snap denies there's any truth to a $30B offer for them anyway. So just another day and another rumor.
That is how acquisitions work. Deny the rumor until the transaction has taken place.

  • Apple A10 iPhone 7 speeds past Samsung Galaxy S8, Google Pixel, LG G6 & BBK 3T (with 2x RA...

That reality is reflected in the Galaxy S8's inability to launch common apps and then switch between them as rapidly, even with 50 percent more RAM than the iPhone. Samsung's Android Galaxy S8 took 7:40 minutes to follow the iPhone 7 Plus through tasks that took iOS less than 3:20 minutes.

iPhone 7 Plus has 3GB of RAM. Galaxy S8 has 6GB of RAM.

Galaxy S8 has 100% more RAM than the iPhone 7 Plus, not 50% more.

    Am I correct?
