  • Apple CEO Tim Cook calls for racial equality in light of US shooting deaths

    Some facts to consider...

In 2015, police killed (in the line of duty) nearly twice as many white people as black people.

In 2015, Chicago gang bangers killed more black people (just in Chicago) than police killed  (in the line of duty) across the entire USA.

In 2015, more US citizens were killed by cars than were killed by guns.

These facts tend to be ignored by liberals, the media, and Obama because they don't support their anti-cop, anti-gun, white-privilege, black-victim narratives. These same narratives helped incite the events in TX last night.

  • Nancy Pelosi expresses disappointment over Tim Cook's GOP fundraiser

    All rights are universal.
Patently false. No one has the right to enter any country they please. No one has the right to vote wherever they please.

It really just depends on the definition of what we're considering s 'right'.

And why the hell does iOS leave a standalone 's' when I mean to hit 'a'? It doesn't correct it. This is a fresh set of autocorrect definitions and it still does this.
I was speaking of the rights of citizens within the USA. For example, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Marriage is not a right.  It is a legal and spiritual contract/covenant between two people who meet the qualifications.

The fact is that it would have made far more sense for Apple to contribute to the Republican fund raiser (many corporations donate to both sides) than for Tim to do so personally, if only because of the issue that most Republicans were and are opposed to gay marriage and gay rights.    I actually find Tim personally donating to this fundraiser kind of shocking.   I saw it in a Facebook post yesterday and I thought the poster was insane.   Luckily, I didn't comment.     Even though Republicans are considered to be "business friendly", I don't see much in the way of Republican policies that truly help this country (except for the 1%).

Supporters seem to conveniently forget that the financial crisis and the Iraq war started under Bush II, although Mr. Bush is also looking mighty good as compared to a Trump.

Ryan may seem "normal" compared to Trump, but he's still way out there.   And Pelosi, whether "good" or "bad" isn't running for President.
Some Republicans are against gay marriage, just like Obama and Clinton were a few years ago.  Most Democrats are in favor of importing as much Islam as possible, a political ideology that includes a mandate from God/Allah to overthrow governments and kill gay people.  Pick your poison.

As for "gay right", there is no such thing.  All rights are universal.

Actually, lets put this in perspective, The NRA did not kill those people, nor did the gun, as much as this guy was not any sort of Jihadist. If anyone wants to believe this guy was some sort of ISIS surrogate, think again.  It is no better than the guy who kills people and claims god made him do it.

    The evidence states otherwise.

During the attack, Omar told the authorities that he was an ISIS surrogate.  After the attack, ISIS told the authorities that Omar was an ISIS surrogate. In a dozen Muslim countries (representing about 100 million people) the sentence for homosexuality is death. Omar's family came from one of those countries. These Muslim countries have no Christian counterparts where homosexuality warrants a death sentence. Omar's family attended mosques where Imams openly preach that it's ok to kill homosexuals.  No Christian churches teach such things. No Christian bishops teach such things. Omar's entire family knew of his plans to become a martyr. That's why Omar gave his house to his sister before the attack, and why he was communicating with his wife during the attack. They were ok with his plans, and now they're covering for him. That's why they didn't go to the authorities, and why his wife will soon be arrested.

The last two days of Reichwing bullcrXX made me hunt for the ignore feature. Click on their name which brings you to a summary page of their postings. Look in the upper right quadrant to find the ignore option. Amazing how many Reichwing crazies are out there and so many either just appear out of nowhere or have thousands of posts and no real life.
An effective tactic for those who cannot support their opinions with facts and evidence.
