And diehard apple consumers don’t care, we still buy them. So no new news here
What an asinine statement. I consider myself a diehard Apple consumer, been having use Apple products since before the Macintosh. If the prices skyrocket, I am certainly priced out of an upgrade, and I am not the only one.

This reminds me of the tests between MacBooks and Windows laptops.  The windows laptops are almost (or slightly faster) than MacBooks, but chokes completely when on battery only.

Performance means nothing on a mobile phone if it means destroying the unit's battery life.
A YouTuber I watch did this but did not do any testing with the laptops unplugged. I wish he would have. The fans on the Windows laptop were already screaming almost constantly while the MacBook Pro was dead quiet.
I see this often and irritates the hell out of me.  I get that many people buy a laptop for use as a desktop thus, leaves it plugged in all the time.  I for one still think a laptop is meant for mobility thus, battery life - and performance with battery - is an important metric.  That these YouTubers don't do that I think just shows their bias.

That these YouTubers dismiss the fans running at full-speed making the laptop sound like a jet turbine while the MacBook is silent is truly shameful.
While yeah, it is irritating, this guy is actually a Mac user. The irritating about this video though is first, he didn't have the latest MacBook Pro, and second, he kept both of the computers plugged in. The results were flawed for sure. He vowed at the end of the video that he will still continue to use the Mac, so that's good-just wish he would do better testing.

  • Apple shareholders sue over Siri delays and massive losses

Wouldn’t this potentially hurt Apple’s stock even more? I seriously doubt they lost nearly a trillion dollars.  What a bunch of  .
