So, this article seems to apply to folders and folders only. If you want to say add a label, er change the color of a file, or another app icon, is it possible to do so like back in the old Mac OS 7 and beyond days or does it just add a dot like it currently does?

And wow, ResEdit. Those were the days!

Am I the only one who is absolutely ecstatic about finally being able to label actual folders with color rather than just having a dumb dot? Only took them more than 20 years to bring this back!

Have you ever been to Tahoe? Didn’t think so! It’s a beautiful place (except when it’s snowing). As a former resident (& its proximity to Reno) I am excited.

um No. Look at the names Apple has used in the past. This is right in line with those.
