MacBook Pro eGPUs gain full clamshell mode and hot-plug capabilities in Apple's macOS 10.1...
The problem with things like this is it has a little attention inside Apple now and will get rolled out. Then, because of the way they're organized, nobody will be responsible. It will not get any attention and two years from now you'll be lucky if it's still working because updates will be non-existent. If Apple is such a large company, why do they have to use the excuse "focus on a few things?" Why isn't there a VP for wireless networking responsible for making money on wireless routers. Who's is in charge of Photos? What's going on with iWork apps? And last, how could the Mac platform be falling behind? I'm a Tim Cook supporter. Nobody else could've taken over after Steve. But Apple is a giant company now. Their organizational structure is holding them back. -

Patent holding firm picks up Sony & Nokia IP, files suit against Apple
The phone we had hardwired to the wall when I was growing up had a switch on the bottom to turn off the ringer...That would be in the late 60's when AT&T, or in our case Southwestern Bell, actually owned the phone and you just used it as part of the service. Wouldn't it be "obvious" to duplicate wired features on a wireless device? Later cordless (wireless) phones had the same feature. -
Safeway says Apple Pay rolling out across US stores in October
Perhaps because of merger related activities they've consolidated the credit card processing recently. The Albertsons that I go to has had ApplePay for quite a while, but the other day it didn't work for me and the clerk told me they wouldn't have ApplePay until mid-October. My guess is that they recently consolidated onto the legacy Safeway system and that system will be upgraded later this month.
