New photos of alleged Lightning EarPods for Apple's 'iPhone 7' match recent leak
Does anyone know if Apple or anyone else makes a Lightning-to-Parallel Port adapter? I have an old OKIdata dot-matrix printer that I'd really like to use with my iPad. It's sad that Apple has ignored parallel port-using customers in its desire to move forward and advance the state of the art.

This is where I insert the Henry Ford "a faster horse" quote.
I love how the people who will have no problem dropping $700 on a brand-new iPhone are already groaning about not being able to use the headphones that shipped with their 1983 Walkman. Cry me a river. -

This year's 'iPhone 7' will lack major design changes as Apple awaits improved technology - report
Well, looks like my 5S'll carry on another year. Investors and pundits, go ahead and do your thing...
My 5S under iOS 9 is faring very well. The only thing that pisses it off for some reason is the Background Music API--running Sirius XM app or Google Play makes the back of my phone heat up so much that I can barely hold it. -
Bluetooth 5 to debut next week with 4X speed, 2X range of Bluetooth 4.2
So, how does the speed increase equate to how long it will take for me to throw a device that suddenly decides, for no reason whatsoever, not to connect, after weeks and weeks of successfully doing so?
For example, my iPhone's connection to my in-dash Alpine car stereo is dependent on the cycles of the moon. It'll work for 3-8 days, take 2 weeks ago, work again for 5-18 days, and so on. I'll go ahead and blame this one on Apple, since it worked flawlessly in the iOS 7-8 days, whereas the firmware on my stereo is the same as the day it was purchased.
Bluetooth sucks. This is one area where I wouldn't mind if Apple came with its own standard. -
