New 'iPhone SE' cases suggest design nearly identical to iPhone 5s
True. What with Samsung's S7 not being half-bad and eating up a lot of positive press, if Monday's announcement is tepid at best, then you know what the pundits and analysts will be doing to Apple's stock and public storyline. If Apple doesn't cure cancer by EOD Monday, watch out.Ugh. This event truly needs to have "one more thing" desperately. -

FBI contacted Apple, received data related to San Bernardino case 3 days after shooting
Can the FBI be sued for engaging in PR, instead of investigatory, tactics? They basically wasted the victims' families' (and taxpayer) time by spending it on PR stunts and misinformation. Not only that, they sabotaged the iCloud backup on purpose to ensure that there weren't any stones left to turn, not even by Apple, other than the El Capitan-sized stone the FBI wants turned. -
San Bernardino's top cop says it's likely 'there is nothing of any value' on iPhone the FBI wants A
"...not making an effort would be unfair to the victims and their families." The loose definition of 'effort' is what's scary here. What type of effort needs to be mounted? Are there are any parameters to this 'effort,' or is the mere mention of the word 'terrorist' code for "by any means necessary"?
