If you're using a Magic Keyboard, you've opened up an attack vector
davebarnes said:How about expanding the article to explain how this affects:
1. me and my iMac in my home office
2. me and my iPad (with Smart Keyboard Folio for iPad Air (5th generation))
?If they went this far, they could just fit you with a modified Magic Keyboard with built-in logger or simply point a camera at you.
In person targeted attacks are extremely rare and there are a million ways to carry out if going to this extent. Since it requires the attacker to be with you it would get outsized police action if they are caught as opposed to an anonymous hacker online. -
What's Apple's Vision Pro killer app?
This is really the developer preview generation at this point, but I think the new input methods with gestures and eye tracking will be more important than immersive features to drive adoption as this platform moves forward. The immersive features might be what keeps people on the platform. It is like going back to an SD screen after you used HD.
If Apple were to figure out how to bring gestures and eye tracking to the Mac without a headset then they would really have a compelling product that everyone would be ready for now. -
Chase could be a potential partner for Apple Card
MplsP said:Seems like a good idea, IMO. Hopefully they could have a real web sited and actual integration with financial apps like Quicken, Banktivity, etc. That’s the biggest drawback of the Applecard and why I don’t use it more. -

ApplePoor said:I think the bad debt experience at GS is only a result of their poor selection process to allow new customers. Their lust after the exhorbiant interest rates on credit card debt blinded them to the fact that those high interest rates are because of defaults. Since they accepted marginally qualified customers, then there should be no surprise at their losses. Greed does often have dire consequences.
