It's like the designers don't use podcasts themselves. I like to look through the library of my favorite shows, and mark them for easy reference in the future, without downloading. Downloading takes up a lot of memory!  I used to do this by clicking once on the download indicator, so the cloud icon (with down arrow) appeared, but this didn't download the episode. That's no longer possible. Now you have to download it, or nothing. The "bookmark" feature downloads it too! So dumb. 

A couple principles I wish remote designers would incorporate: 1) remote orientation should be instantly understood by the user due to its feeling in the hand. Apple, Sevenhugs and Harmony all basically fail at this simple benefit. 2) usage in a dark room should be assumed - ideally the user shouldn't even have to glance at the remote, but if they need to, a dim eye-pleasing soft glow should indicate the buttons. This would diminish battery life a bit, but a larger battery isn't a big deal in a remote, and additional heft may me nice for hand-feel anyway. 3) buttons should have different shapes so they are easily deciphered by the fingers, when in a dark room.

I hate to sound like a curmudgeon, I've been loving the Mac exterior designs the last few years, but these, if accurate, IMO, are horrible colors, and worst of all lack personality, and look like imaginary PC designs. The small Mac Pro looks like a humidifier. Also, Macs finally shook the inaccurate perception of being "toys", but these colors look like something for infants, and college kids could shy away from them, as they want to be perceived as adults. Why not use the iPhone, and iPhone Pro colors? Anyway, I'm sure Apple has researched the heck out of the colors, so I may be wrong, hopefully. 

I think it's a mistake to phase out the Beats brand (if that's what Apple is doing). Beats has its own positive aura, and roots. While I love Apple, having every product labeled "Apple" lends to the false perception of a lack of variety of manufacturers, and people don't like to feel monopolized (I'm not making that up).
