  • Apple shares shrug off war threat as analysts scramble to raise their targets

"Apple's best days are behind it."  When someone makes a statement like that, they're just being arrogant or maybe they're stupid.  I can't tolerate know-it-alls.  I doubt anyone knows the possibilities of the future.  There are technical advances being made all the time, so any technical breakthrough can possibly change the world.  When it comes to human nature, it's difficult to tell what consumers will consider some product a "must-have" product.  Although I can't possibly imagine what that product will be from Apple, I just know the possibility exists.  I have been using personal computers (Apple) for over forty years and there were times I thought it just wouldn't get any better, but eventually, things do get better.  A lot better, from my experiences.

A war may not hurt Apple's finances directly, but when you have greedy investors trying to protect their money, they will quickly grab all their money out of the market and Apple's share price will drop like an anvil.

  • AAPL analysts spar over state of Chinese iPhone sales

Credit Suisse is trying to generate news to match their $221 price target. They have an inaccurate track record. Seems like nobody cares about their report as evident of  current stock price. Just another manipulator.

You almost have to feel sorry for clients following these analyst's advice.  They're missing out on fantastic gains if they had any intentions to buy Apple stock.  The analyst is missing by so much that he shouldn't even have that type of job.

  • A7: How Apple's custom 64-bit silicon embarrassed the industry

When Apple announced the A7 as being an advanced 64-bit processor the tech geniuses laughed and said that a smartphone doesn't need a 64-bit processor and having one would just be a waste for all concerned. Later on, I really enjoyed hearing about all the smartphone manufacturers scurrying about trying to get 64-bit processors into their smartphones

Whenever Apple does something different, it's immediately dismissed as pure folly and stupidity by people who claim to know everything. It has recently been repeated with the removal of the headphone jack from the iPhone. I'm fairly certain there will be very few smartphones with headphone jacks in the next year or so as more smartphone manufacturers try to make money from selling wireless earbuds

I suspect Apple will lead the way with putting only USB-C ports on its products while users are still asking for USB-A ports. Apple seems to always be hated and criticized for going against the rest of the industry, but in the end, other companies follow them after all the hate has been exhausted and the change has gained user acceptance.

  • Mac Pro spotted in DJ Calvin Harris' studio ahead of launch

Maybe that's not a real Mac Pro. There is a PC case that looks exactly like the Mac Pro case and that could be one of them. As for the Apple logo, it could just be a stick-on logo. We won't know for sure until we see the inside of it.

I'm just joking. The knock-off version has a power switch and USB ports where the release mechanism is on the top of the Mac Pro. Anyway, I can hardly wait to see how powerful the new Mac Pro is in the wild. It's way beyond any computer I would ever need but it's still kind of cool. I hope it gets really good reviews as there are so many Apple Mac haters out there. This Mac Pro might prove Apple still has the chops to build a balls-to-the-wall pro computer. Fingers crossed.

  • Editorial: No, the new 2019 Mac Pro isn't a fairy tale come true

Android device users, for the most part, don't care whether their devices are updated or not.  Most consumers buy low-cost Android devices and are happy with them.  Android smartphones have a 99% market share percentage in both India and Africa and I'm sure no one is complaining about they're not getting any OS updates.  Those lack of updates certainly isn't going to push them to buy and use iPhones.  Android smartphones are good enough and that's all that matters to most users.  I doubt it matters much to Google as long as they can push those ads out to Android smartphone users as that's how they make their money from people who are just happy to have "free" services to use on a daily basis.  Apple will have to forever settle on having a global 10% market share percentage that will never grow as Android OS has everything locked up with low-cost devices.
