Can someone explain to me what the point of this flyover is, aside from being a fancy gimmick? A maps application is to help you get somewhere and move around, not help you fly around a city as if you were videogame. Why does it not focus it's resources in getting transit directions for all cities were public transit is vital to moving around a city? Does not Apple realize that public transit is vital for pretty much every large city outside of the US? I find it amazing that Apple maps is still useless for pretty much every large city on the planet outside of China, the US, and London 3 years after it's release. One city in all of Europe?!? The problem is not only with a lack of transit: in several cities in non developed countries I was surpirsed how excellent Google Maps works (for several years now, I might add) everywhere, even in small towns. Apple Maps was, and still is, not even in the same league. I really enjoy reading this website for info on Apple, but many of the site's editorials and the odd article are very biased towards Apple (especially when it comes to Apple Maps), to the point of being inaccurate and unrealistic.
