Apple TV losing market share to streaming set-top box rivals Roku, Amazon
i love the Apple TV, but wish some things were enhanced: obviously the remote being revamped is a start...simply moving it on my bed triggers an action, i can't tell which is the top and bottom in the dark, it's too thin (bought a case for it). Maybe getting into more gaming could help them also. Not that fixing a remote would help sales, but gaming would.

Rumors tap Apple's new 'iPhone 8' color as 'blush gold,' models coming in 64 & 128GB
this color looks much better than the "copper" color reported last week...there was a poll on another site with almost 10,000 votes and "copper" was in 3rd place behind "black" and just being edged out by "mirror-finish"...so obviously they did their market research, supposedly aimed at the fashion conscious and women.
This color is a much better alternative to "rose gold"

Spotify retains clear lead over Apple Music with 60M paid subscribers
foggyhill said:Total bullshit, I'm considered a paying customer but I got a 2 year promotions from Rogers/Fido.
So, Spotify is probably getting $3 buck per month from Rogers for my service.
There is so much lying and dishonesty in reporting and so called analysts that its kind of sickening.
Seamingly no one gives a crap about actual facts anymore.
Wherent they giving free subscriptions with New York Times accounts also. Sign up for NYT and get free Spotify premium account...you know they count these as paid subs

Fitbit's Apple Watch competitor will offer third-party apps & 'app gallery' at launch - CE...
Remember this comment from Fitbit CEO:
"We look at it from a consumer point of view,” Park said, noting that the Apple Watch, “is a computing platform [instead, and] that’s really the wrong way to approach this category from the very beginning.”
"but the point seems to be that Fitbit tries to make its wearables simple, one-purpose devices. The Apple Watch, meanwhile, tries to be all things to all people — providing notifications, fitness stats, and phone calls — but without excelling in any of them."
Ah, the circle of life continues....pretty funny
