    A necklace isn’t exactly mass market. 

    Kinda disappointed if this is what it ends up being. 

    Thry did mention it would be s third device that goes on the desk after a computer and phone. 

    Wouldn’t be surprised if it were a watch or even beating apple to the punch as a pair of glasses/sunglasses. 

    I’m going to bet on glasses. Wouldn’t be surprised if Jony was wearing them in the preview announcement.

    Microsoft missed the mobile revolution because they were wedded to their cash cow of Windows. Will Apple miss the AI revolution because they are wedded to their cash cow of the iPhone?
    No. Apple is a keen student of history. 

    Having already begun ai efforts and launching new products such the failed headset shows that they’re not wedded to anything other than putting their best foot forward in everything they do.

    Likely a speaker with a screen. An ai Alexa. 

    What else is a third device “on your desk?”

    doesn’t sound like a wearable. 

    Saw the Ive and Altman commercial yesterday on YouTube. They sounded very bullish on this as if it were the next great thing. 

    As much as I don’t personally care for where technology is heading as it removes humans from the equation more and more, my interest is piqued concerning this. As it always is when Jony Ive is involved. The man always produces the best hardware designs, whether it’s a computer, a music player, a smartphone, a tablet, a watch, wireless earbuds, and even a paper red nose. Whatever he makes, it’s either revolutionary or st worst, best in class.

  • US officials concerned over Apple's AI partnership plans in China

    While it’s a bit frustrating to see apple rely so much on China, people have to realize that China was Cooks secret weapon back in the day when China was humble. 

    It’s going to be difficult to way from the one thing you know like the back of your hand. 

    Unfortunately, feeding the mogwai too much has turned it into a hideous gremlin hellbent in overpowering whom it will. 

    It’s is long overdue to pull away from China,  not reinvest. 
    And apple needs to beef up AI. Sending the current, wimpy version to another market isn’t going to help its cause. 

    The American government has announced it wants to go big on ai and be the leader. That’s a good place for apple to join in and help create not only the leading capabilities, but an ethical standard. Won’t happen in China.
