Apple will not buy Disney, no matter how often it hears that it will
mjtomlin said:If Apple make any large acquisition they should buy Sony. Sony could offer so much IP, not just media, but gaming, home electronics, and a ton of other technologies including display and camera. But… the antitrust people would try to get in the way because it’s just too smart a move.If not Disney, then So y would be a great buy.But Apple should buy Disney. -

But history shows that most attempts at growth through acquisition ultimately fail. (Take a look at the Time/Warner/AOL example). The Pixar, Marvel honeymoon is over for Disney.Just go back to good movies that real people like. They didn’t need to change the formula. It was working. Then they broke it.They should teach courses in college marketing using this example of what not to do when inheriting massively successful IPs. -

Bad Apple Maps data leads to droves looking for lost Apple products at same Texas address
This man needs to be compensated by Apple ASAP. Unacceptable. He could have been beaten, shot, stabbed, killed, etc. as these folks believed he stole their property.I am not a lawsuit advocate, but this guy has a case here if he wants to pursue it. Better if Apple would proactively do the honorable thing by compensating this guy who has to suffer for their error - in addition to fixing the problem right away. -
Tim Cook will talk to US Lawmakers about China challenges
Responsible US lawmakers: “China is a hostile nation intent on defeating the USA from within and without. We need to be careful and up our game, not feeding the dragon.”
cook: “but but but… more money! Sure we handed over data centers and invested 275 billion dollars into an actual evil communist dictatorship, but it’s good for our checkbooks.”
