GM ditching CarPlay & Android Auto for Google-built infotainment system

Because it’s so true. I don’t use the Google GPS anymore. It literally has me going down a road, then telling me to I turn. Then upturn again to get back where I started before finally telling me to take the right I should have taken 10 minutes ago.Having travelled to numerous states in the last 6 months, it’s been a nightmare. Apple Maps on the other hand, has proven reliably accurate. How times have changed. -
What to expect from WWDC 2023 on June 5 through June 9
If there’s any cryptic messaging in the imagery, it resembles a headset lens. *yawn*
and the played out rainbow colors probably represent the visual color spectrum. So,,, sounds like the XR thing is coming and it runs iOS. Shocker.Kind of also. looks like X-Ray glasses from before most of our time.Would be hilarious if the headset was actually glasses and apple called the pass through feature “X-Ray.” -

All electronic devices need power for their buttons to work. These force touch buttons are no different. It's actually mechanical if they are force touch. Strange that the rumors really don't say capacitive. They always say solid-state, which isn't clear to me what it means.Might be better for water-proofing, but some obvious usability caveats. -
