Apple does more than that.  They've got the Secure Enclave, uncrackable encryption and they've already released a patch to address the issue.  This is such a non-story when it comes to Apple that it's laughable.  The fact that this affects Android is the real story here as all those users are screwed.

People don't always get Apple.  It's been that way for many decades and I'm sure they're used to it.  May I recommend trusting them that they know what they're doing.

That's fine.  Apple and their long time users are accustomed to people not 'getting it'.

Great news for Apple and India.  This sounds like a win-win.  And hopefully Leshi and Xiaomi get their exemptions denied.  If India makes too many exemptions then that will hurt the spirit of the law.  Exemptions should only be made in extraordinary circumstances.
