  • Compared: 14-inch MacBook Pro vs 2022 Razer Blade 14

I like to make the ‘push pixels‘ calculation: ScreenWidth x ScreenHeight x RefreshRate:

    Mac: 3024x1964x120Hz=712.696.320
    Rizen 1: 2560x1440x165Hz=608.256.000
    Rizen 2: 1920x1080x144Hz=298.598.400

    Maybe, this mean something!

  • Jony Ive's exit from Apple caused by company culture changes and growing frustration

quote: “Apple needs to find to its roots again, even it will not be Wallstreets darling anymore.”

What better ‘find to its roosts’ than the new Studio Mac?

  • Jony Ive's exit from Apple caused by company culture changes and growing frustration

Do we remember when some ‘high exec’ did not apologised by the Maps-gate? Tim Cook asked him to go out.
With Johnny Ive he was more nice… after the initial ‘fashion Apple Watch’ fiasco.

The only thing that we must remember is that… “Blaming Apple —and Tim Cook— brings book sales, NYT's page view…”

Do you imagine an Apple Studio with a single port?

  • Apple's self-made modem is a massive challenge, but with big rewards at stake

The good thing for companies like Qualcomm is that it would be really rare that Apple sells its modems to other companies.

Maybe, Qualcomm will feel embarased like Intel with the M1 chips… but the rest of the communication market will still buy from them.

And as far as I remember there is an office in Berlin doing also work on the modem… or maybe the chips.

Still cannot believe Apple did this. Pretty massive endeavour. And of course not a single positive word uttered by the right to repair hypocrites and trolls. Just more criticism and complaining.
On an anecdotal note I wanted to replace the light bulb in my microwave oven some years ago. When taking apart the enclosure I discovered one of the screws was a non-standard pentium head. It became clear the manufacturer didn’t want the user anywhere near the magnetron tube. There were warnings all over that there were no user serviceable parts inside.
The magnetron tube is a high voltage… highest risk part of the device… so it could have been just a ‘safety measure.’
