Alphabet Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt spotted snapping pics with an Apple iPhone
It's only fascinating as a contrast with Apple culture, where if an employee -- much less an executive there -- were to use a competitor's product, they'd be in big, big trouble. The real world, though, is nuanced. Apple makes great products. Google makes great products. Personally, I use a combination of 'em. It's just the fanboys (on both sides) that perpetuate the annoying "ZOMG, loyalty!!!!1" crap. So, yeah, maybe Eric wanted to check out the competition. Or maybe -- like many geeks -- he has two phones, one for work, one for fun, to better keep things separate. Who knows? But why judge? I mean, seriously, this is news?!?
