“ To accomplish this, the toolkit requires the installation of a jailbreak known as "checkra1n," which uses vulnerabilities in the Apple bootrom.”I was under the impression that the checkm8 boot rom exploit required the user passcode. The exploit and jailbreak cannot be used to break into a locked phone!
Does the new vulnerability described in this article effect all phones or just those that have been jail broken?

This is of course a product that is not available to non-US residents, so this guy probably has less first hand experience with it than the average US consumer.
Almost all the innovation is in the user experience and especially the wallet app. You have to experience it to appreciate what a big step forward it is.

This is exactly what Apple demoed with the Airdrop feature. The system knows which device the iPhone is pointing at.

Kuo: Apple unlikely to cut iPhone 11 shipments in October
Kuo made bullish predictions after new iPhones went on sale last year, in fact he predicted what he called a “super cycle”. Then within about a month or so weeks he reversed his predictions and the super cycle never happened.
I fully expect him to change his predictions again next month.
