One of my initial thoughts when learning about ARKit was "one day there are going to be location and situation based AR experiences to discover all over Disneyland, these could also be personalized" - the possibilities are endless.

It's easy to make a September 12 prediction based on the fact that invitations did not go out yesterday as they might have done for a September 5 event. 

There not using Touch ID!

They just have there hand waiting to find out if they get a "PASS" of "FAIL" - that determines where they will need to take the phone. (The pass and fail routings are likely in different directions, one to the right and one to the left - it's critical that the technician get it correct)

Does anyone really think that phones are set up for Touch ID so that only a particular technician can run a test like this?

besides, it looks like an Apple logo not a Touch ID sensor.

Patent troll? This is different. This guy is the actual inventor and was smart enough to write and be awarded patents on this back in 1998. Apple cited his work dozens of times. Interesting case.

It seems like they deliberately chose not to support Apple Pay and them blamed Apple for not letting them have direct access to the NFC.

Presumably, there solution requires users to open an app in order to make a payment - Apple Pay is so much more user friendly.
