Ricky Gervais roasts Apple as Golden Globes snub 'The Morning Show'
Does anyone watch these award shows anyway? It’s usually a bunch of fake & shallow hypocritical actors kissing each other’s behinds. To have the host insult them is ironic. And to have him make comments about Apple that aren’t accurate is harmful and slanderous. Hey, you could argue EVERY product made in China is made in a sweatshop - none of those workers are paid fair wages, in which case all companies that manufacture in China are guilty. At least Apple attempts to bring better working conditions and more environmentally friendly processes - I would say they are way ahead of Microsoft, Dell, and all the other tech/consumer products companies in their efforts. -

Apple chip partner TSMC to start 5nm 'A14' production in mid-2020
GeorgeBMac said:So, what is the benefit of a 200+mph car if the speed limit is 65?Isn't Apple still installing the A10 (from September, 2016) in new products today in 2020? Don't they work (for 95% of users) just fine?
This is where people like Elon Musk and Steve Jobs are needed, visionaries and dreamers, those that push the envelope, that ignore the 99%, and don't give a shxt about what others think of them. Bill Gates once said who will ever need more than 640K in a personal computer - we all know he is a fool (and buddy of Jeffrey Epstein). Microsoft has held back technology innovation for decades, Intel as well. If you want to hear a visionary and futurist speak about really cool, unbelievable stuff then watch interviews with Ray Kurzweil -- you will begin to feel that tech is not moving fast enough. -
Tim Cook says Japan's Seiko Advance is why there's a Midnight Green iPhone
"Chinese companies are rapidly catching up," he said.
This Japanese company spent 4 years developing this specialized ink and process, and did so in a more environmentally friendly way. They did it in a legal, moral, honorable way - with hard work and creativity. They deserve to be respected, recognized, applauded and compensated for their efforts. What boils my blood is that a Chinese company, probably within a few months, will steal and duplicate this process, with encouragement and subsidies from the Chinese government, at a price that the Japanese company that invented it will no longer be able to compete with - driving them out of business.
