The only impressive thing about these phones is OLED at such a low price point. The take away is that Apple must go all OLED for all future phones (until microLED is ready for prime time). A $649 XR with OLED and new proc & camera? That would get me to upgrade.

I’m shocked Apple Music was ever #1? Pinterest moving to #1 is surprising, but I’m sure someone got paid off to make that happen - coincidentally in sync with their IPO.

Anecdotal rumblings ...The UX on Spotify is preferred by most, Spotify's play lists are more on the mark. Spotify's free tier helps people get used to the service, create playlists and then sign-up for paid version when ready. The AirPlay2 push plus Verizon promo will help Apple's market share, but Apple needs to be on par or better.Once people are on a service they tend to stick with it.

1080 (unobstructed by notch) would clinch it. Fastasleep - The reason you would want native 1080 resolution is because it’s a very common video resolution standard. If you watch a 1080 video (movie, YouTube, TV broadcast stream) on a phone with less than 1080 capability, it will scale or crop it - both are not desirable and sacrifice quality. Scaling uses more CPU cycles and power. Cropping it will cause a loss of video content.
