You mean like the good old US of A, right?

Apple sells products that enrich and enable people's lives. Not selling to the countries where these things takes place punishes both the perpetrators and victims of said human rights violations. Is that what you think Apple should do? Apple stills sells its products in the US, despite its terrible record of human rights violations. Should they stop?

You haven't really thought this through, have you? Just what countries does Apple sell in that you think are worse examples than your blessed/soon-to-be-damned US of A? And please, don't vomit up China as a  knee-jerk response. For every Chinese example you cough up, you can find corollaries in US history.

Anyway, those of us who do not live in the USA, and I can't say I speak for everyone here, are sad and sickened by America's long slide into the dilemma you now face. I love Americans, as a people, but as a country, there is nothing left to admire or aspire to.

I hope we can be as accommodating to the coming influx of American refugees as we have been to the Afghani, Iraqi, Iranian, Syrian and other victims of US oppression, but were kind of full-up right now.
