I had to smile at your post.  FitBit is notorious for their build quality.  My experience, and those of countless other folks who have posted similar accounts, is one of constant breakage, calling customer support, getting the runaround, getting a new unit, and then repeat until you've grown exhausted and move on to another product.  If you can afford it I'd look into some of the older, more mainstream fitness companies such as Garmin.  DCRainmaker has done a great job of testing various devices (I have no affiliation) and even keeps his own list of what he uses (https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2015/05/2015-swimbikerun-gear-list.html).  He seems to prefer the Garmin Felix though everyone has their own needs/reasons for picking a particular device.  Good luck!

THIS is why I bought my first iPhone in 2017. I got tired of the lack of update support by the hardware vendors and the finger pointing between Verizon and the phone manufacturer about when/if the update would ever come out. I know, I could have gotten a Pixel in 2017 but why would I do that when Apple has demonstrated for years they know how to bring a great phone to market and provide solid support for it for 4+ years.

I skipped both the 2016 MBP and this wanna be Thunderbolt.  Perhaps this Fall the product line will look more "Pro" and have all the embarassing wrinkles worked out in general.

Apple TV 4 owner here with two units in the house.  Love them both.  Its been great to see the software updated and polished over time.  I was a past Roku user and found their quality assurance/control lacking.  I haven't cared about 4K support until recently because there wasn't much 4K content out there to watch.  It is time for a ATV5 4K refresh and I'll be gladly upgrading and giving my old ATV4 units to friends/family when that happens.

Takes a bite out of crime!
