My old iPod touch died a few weeks ago and I had in my head decided to buy a new one when new models were released. Instead, when the news it was being discontinued droppe yesterday, I went and bought one at my local Apple store. Today, they’re sold out. Whether I keep it or not, I’m kind of glad I picked one while I could. 

Why I prefer Apple's iOS to Android: A friend of mine handed me his Android phone to take a picture. Before I could snap the shutter, the camera app popped up an ad. 

I hold a minority opinion, I'm sure, but I detest streaming and download exclusive partnerships between artists and content deliverers, regardless of who it is. But, then, I still prefer physical media like CDs and vinyl, and I don't pay to download music if a lossless bitrate isn't available. Two exclusive albums in two days is god PR for Ocean, and all. But I just want to know when can I get the CD or LP?

"It's not clear why Apple would want Omnifone..." Given that Apple is extending iDevice storage capacity to 128 and even 256 GB, and the rumored lightning connector headphones and patch cables will be able to deliver better than CD quality sound, and that Omnifone used to deliver content for lossless provider Pono, I'm hoping this is a signal that Apple will begin delivering lossless content through the iTunes store and/or Apple Music.
