    That may be a deal killer. Other flagship devices, and even lower level devices have had this for many months now. For Apple not to is a big blow. For most of us, 5G is worthless. What will be the motivation then? The smaller battery if that rumor is true? Lidar which has little to no use for most people. Better cameras? The ones now are great. 

    Hoping for a good iPad or Apple Watch update I guess.

    Think about it.  Apple today encourages it's developers to make separate iPhone and iPad apps.  So when a device like Samsung's galaxy fold, or LG V60  opens and closes, it can easily switch between tablet and phone mode, and keep the apps continuity in tact, because it is the same app.   Android and Google from day one encouraged their developers to make one app that supports both phones and tablets.   So if Apple is trying to make a foldable phone that switches between iPhone and iPad, then I can't see that happening anytime soon.

    Now I can see Apple making a foldable device like the Galaxy Z fold, or Motorola Razr, which always stays as a phone, but it folds up to be smaller.   That I can see Apple working on, because apps don't have to change.
    That’s why Android tablets have always sucked and failed. Apps need to be different for the different screen sizes etc.

    You have to factor in the deterrence the bag checks have caused to prevent theft and that’s impossible to do. 

    Apple should have 100% paid them. A trillion dollar company stiffing hourly wage employees is and looks horrible.

    I hope they hand 120HZ refresh rates and that the much smaller battery rumors turn out false. I have an 11 pro but my wife’s X has some issues. I want to upgrade but don’t see spending $1100 + on a phone whose main upgrade is 5G which I can’t really use anyway. Hoping for good things.
