Apple with it’s using USB-C for iPads but Lightning for others has no leg to stand on with this argument. It switched its laptops to USB-C creating huge ewaste. Apple likes to argue both sides of the coin when it comes to its costs. Very disingenuous. 

The hole I see that may cost Apple this car is that free apps are serviced for nothing. That kind of negates Apple’s contention it needs to get a cut to support the work it does. I don’t agree with this, but Apple’s is arguing as if they have to justify their fees. They shouldn’t have to at all.

External power supply with Ethernet (in the higher two models) is an interesting choice. Does that mean you can add ethernet to the base model later buy buying a different power supply?

They don’t need a chin in the iPads. Here they don’t need a battery even.  Make it a little thicker and fit the components behind the screen. It’s a desktop. Thinness is the least important thing. 

I have this printer in black. The ink lasts a long time and the first time you refill with bottles you’ll appreciate the cost savings. All in all a good deal IMO 

No charger to save e-waste but have to return the whole watch to exchange a band. Yes Apple really cares.
