Apple experimenting with touchless controls & curved screens for future iPhones
I'm disappointed that 3D Touch did not catch on; I have all the apps that support those shortcuts on my main screens and I use many of them daily. I wonder if Apple will kill off that gesture/feature in the coming years...the capacitive sensors are integrated directly into the display, so how lucrative is continuing to do that, I wonder?AppleInsider said:

This was (is) my goal as well, lol. I've tried for years to get one friend to switch over as she would complain year over year about SS and 'droid. And she just upgraded...to a SS S7. <Sigh> ;-)radarthekat said:

There are people, groups, and companies that truly want to see humanity thrive in new ways and there are people that are of the old school opinions that we're doing just fine...and those singular people still get the final say. I feel that when all the "old money" leaders are gone, only then will we have a chance to grow. <Sigh>

I do not like how most, if not all, current charges are restrictive to how the phone is placed on the unit to charge it. Lining up exactly is annoying and is what Apple's AirPower mat appears to ditch somehow. Initially interested in this, but not after reading how there are extra pieces suggested or needed to keep it aligned. -
