Apple's 'Mother Nature' sketch was a complete dud, and didn't belong in the iPhone 15 even...

Walmart Pay uses bizarre metric to claim its dominance over Apple Pay is approaching
I myself have used both Apple Pay and WalMart Pay. Apple Pay is quicker; WalMart Pay is convenient sometimes, but I recently noticed something new: previously, when using WMP, it would generate a digital receipt within the app. On my last two visits to WalMart, it not only generated the digital receipts but also printed out paper ones. That itself is one reason I prefer Apple Pay so as to not use paper. -
Don't update to iOS 13 just yet -- wait for iOS 13.1
matrix077 said:peterhart said:I always update on release day and thus far, I haven’t encountered any issues. I love the simplified way AirDrop now works with contacts, I haven’t seen the No Sender Mail issue’s, and the new swipe keyboard is pretty cool and comparable to GBoard I used by Google. I’m pretty happy with iOS 13, especially Night Mode.
And yes, swipe keyboard is great, but how do you type double letters, like le'tt'ers? -

New 30% U.S. tax on solar cells threatens jobs, Apple's renewable energy efforts
There are people, groups, and companies that truly want to see humanity thrive in new ways and there are people that are of the old school opinions that we're doing just fine...and those singular people still get the final say. I feel that when all the "old money" leaders are gone, only then will we have a chance to grow. <Sigh> -

Apple considers using Amazon chips to train future Apple Intelligence models
I’m attending AWS re:Invent this week and I sat in on the keynote presentation by Amazon Web Services CEO Matt Garman this morning. It was cool to learn that Apple partners with AWS and uses some of its products and services. Makes you realize that somewhere, some company always relies on another, no matter what the field or product. -
iOS 16.3 now available with support for new HomePod, security keys

[u] Nevermind - apparently I have to update my Apple TV and even my old Windows computer’s iCloud for Windows app before it turns on.
