Russia did the same thing. Makes me even happier with Apple's secure-ness. Russia and China want electronics that are easier to break into and monitor.

Scaling in MacOS works like magic. I've been using Photoshop basically since it went public. I know all the tricks to getting good results in upscaling images. 

Nothing I do comes close to the perception based on the fly system scaling on my 16-inch M1 MBP.

The same magic is built into the Apple TV 4K. The live upscaling of HD content to 4K is excellent.

I have been buying 100% of my Apple product purchases directly from Apple for many years because of this. Counterfeiters are basically duplicating Apple's production methods, minus their strict standards. Glad to have an Apple Card to save a bit off the prices plus zero percent interest.
