  • QuarkXPress 2017 expands layout tech, brings non-destructive image editing

I use QuarkXPress 3.3.1 on a daily basis, on my G4 Quicksilver running mac os 9. After the transition to OSX, Quark got so bloated, it was getting more and more idiotic. Just to print, one had to go through 3 dialogs for setting the crap up. I have tried later versions, but even running QuarkXPress 2016 on the Trashcan can not compete with the old one. I would really love if they could release a stripped down version that just did what it used to do. All the image editing crap, vector bull, thats what Photoshop and Illustrator is for. So let those apps just do what they do, and Quark focus on what its supposed to do. Until that happens, Ill still use my trusty old G4

Just for the record, I use the Trash Mac Pro for Photoshop and Illustrator, so Im not all old school all the time ;)

  • Samsung, LG concerned by Apple's plans to replace OLED with micro-LED in 2017 Apple Watch ...

Samsung earns more from selling Apple complnents than their own mobile devices. Maybe they should not have copied Apple from the start. Apple has on more than one occation supplied component manufacturers with the complete production line in return for exclusivity, if Samsung did not do what they did, maybe Apple would give them the IP and ecuipmenr for making the screens they need.

  • Lawsuit blames Apple's 'less safe' FaceTime implementation for fatal traffic accident

This lawsuit is lame. In the EU there are laws against using devices while operating a vehicle, so if you are FaceTiming behind the wheel, then first of all you are breaking the law, and second, if you crash, its your own fault. There should be a federal law against using devices while operating a vehicle in the US, then lawsuits like these would never even get to court.
