Editorial: Apple survived 2016's onslaught of fake news and failed competitors
Yup, all of its true. But I should point out one intellectual inconsistency: you jumped on Gamergate and the AltRight as an example of an aggrieved fringe…except, well, so is the Apple fandom.(Note that "fringe" here mostly means "not liked by the media for various reasons, real and imaginary")Maybe strike a slightly more positive tone? There's no reason to invoke the comparison anyway; it's apples and oranges, heh. And frankly, comparing a wonderful product line like Apple's to people who are both their own worst enemies *and* who do, indeed, have legitimate grievances...Wait.
Anyway, don't let all the negativity get you down. Happy new year, have some frosty brew and some delicious nom!
