  • Apple's 'Crush' iPad Pro ad sparks intense backlash from creatives

I thought it was one of their best ads in recent times. Crushing all that creativity into one thin highly capable product. And I too believe it's CGI as too many of those shots just seemed like they'd be easier in CG. So basically, as a hard core creative, I completely disagree. Heck, even destroying things can be an art form as Apple has shown here. It was literally entertaining to watch these things get destroyed.

  • How to add HomeKit light switches without rewiring your house

My Home Kit has also been working very well since they switched to matter. I did have to re-setup a lot of things but since then it's been very solid. Also, I'm not an electrician but my family owns an electrical contracting company and I know that the ground is green (or green with yellow stripe). The neutral is white, and the hot (or live) is the black wire. Be sure to turn off the correct breaker before working on any electrical and it's always a good idea to wear at least one electrical glove (if not two), this way if you do get bit by electricity it doesn't have a path to travel through your chest region.

  • Studio Display review roundup: From 'delightful' to 'unusable'

The LG 27in is the only competition and I don't think at $300 less it's a better value. I'll rather have the Mac Studio Displays dolby atmos capable speakers, 12mp camera, 100nits more of brightness, 3 array mics, faster 10GB USB-C ports, and the ability to charge my MacBook from the display over saving that cash. Not to mention I think it looks way nicer.

  • Trending hashtag 'iPhone shower' turns a silly accident into ongoing meme

Applecare + does cover water damage you just have to pay $99 instead of the $29 to get it repaired.
