How to use iPad as a Mac replacement and why you'd want to
Just purchased the 13" iPad Pro w/ keyboard case. As everyone else pointing out.. so much you cannot yet do. I would be OK docking.. but really not getting the many windowed workflow I am used to.
I wish Apple would follow Microsoft Windows (was it 8).. where it would present a Touch interface undocked, and a Desktop Interface docked. That would be awesome and I would definitely keep.
That all said, I will be returning the 13" and going back to 11". (I had the first 2 versions of the 12.9). For those of you who care and didn't ask. My 11" vs 13"
13" iPad
Pros:
Big screen
Great for drawing
Stage Manager is decent - which is the only place I've found it useful
Many if not most apps don't take advantage of extra screen real estate.
Get a keyboard WITH numbers.
Cons:
It's really big
It's even more expensive
11" iPad
Pros:
Perfect size for a digital companion
Fill a void between iPhone and MacBook
Decent size for use as DJI Drone screen
Cons:
Still very expensive
Keyboard without numbers always annoys me

Apple's new iPad Pro gets M4 power, advanced Tandem OLED screens
Some info to be aware of:- 10 core processor only available on TB versions, 256 & 512MB versions get 9 cores (3e & 6p).
- 1TB option is $600 (60%) more than base option, $400 more than 512GB version.
- Textured nano glass requires TB option.
- Wide angle camera is dropped.. only one camera on rear.
- GPS still requires cellular version, which is $200 upgrade.
I am extremely disappointed Apple continues to bundle options. Why should I have to buy storage I do not need to get the processor I want??
To get better processor and GPS, with AppleCare and tax is now $2,070.. and that doesn’t include any accessories.. and that’s the 11” version.

Recharge the Apple Vision Pro twice as fast with a better power adapter
tht said:Did you try charging the battery while disconnected to the VP? A 5W to 10W should charge the battery without the VP connected. It would take 12 to 6 hours...
Last night, after getting 20% battery warning while wearing AVP, I disconnected from the battery and charged battery only. While charging battery only, meter showed 52W draw. Some time later, maybe 30 minutes, I checked and was showing 26W charge rate. Again, as I mentioned before, almost all LION chargers are "smart" and reduce charge current as they near capacity.

Arm wants more than $0.30 per iPhone from Apple, but won't get it
Also, this is just for the "license". ARM isn't supplying anything physical.. just the intellectual ideas, which @blastdoor points out, is largely from Apple in the first place. If their product or rate was too high in the first place, they wouldn't have been considered an option. Decades later, ARM wants more. Of course. 230+M iPhones last year is a $70M annual check to ARM for providing decades old IP.
