    AirTags did not turn good people into bad. It's just one of the many tools they may use in their actions. Yes, there are a few bad actors who use AirTags for nefarious purposes. But little mention of the millions of users who have benefited from AirTag technology to trace stolen/lost items and share their location with friends and family for positive safety reasons.

  • Moment debuts 8 new iPhone lenses as part of T-Series overhaul

    I felt pretty burned by MOMENT with claims for the past few years that their lenses were still compatible with current iPhones, when they were clearly not. Couldn't think of a worse time to launch new lenses, right before a new phone comes out. Could have MOMENT claiming once again how awesome they are with the iPhone 15, when they are not.

    The vast majority of people using AirTags are doing so for legitimate purposes. Law enforcement should be delighted when criminals/stalkers use Apple products as they are much more likely to be caught due to the tracking safeguards but in. There are many other tag trackers out there without these safeguards that are not getting the attention Apples AirTags are. It is ridiculous this blame game on Apple, when no other manufacturer comes close to their safeguards.

    I have an AirTag on my motorbike, which is parked indoors in the entrance to my building. It give me an enormous sense of security knowing if the bike moves, I will be notified and can track its location. But, if I am away a couple of days the tag starts making noise, which my neighbors found annoying. So I wrapped it in high density foam that made it very hard to hear. There are many valid reasons to not want the speaker working.
