UK 'racing' to improve contact tracing privacy without Apple and Google
There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I will be downloading an NHS app that saves my data on a centralised database - the NHS IT history says they simply cannot be trusted to keep my data safe from hackers, and I haven’t even mentioned how long they will keep my data for or who they will allow to access it...
BTW I do live in England.

France shames Apple for not sacrificing user privacy for COVID-19 app
I am also in the U.K. and agree 100%.aderutter said:It’s France and the UK NHS who should be shamed.
For wasting taxpayers money on ineffectual apps that will prove to be useless without using the Apple-Google API.
I am in the UK and no way will I or my family use the NHS app until it uses the Apple-Google API with decentralised data and strict privacy.
Opportunity lost by UK and France.
I predict the media having a field day when the apps from other countries work and the apps from France and UK don’t.

France, UK to test contact tracing apps without Apple and Google technology
Many forums I am active on have members who say they do not trust the U.K. NHS to keep a centralised database secure, so will NOT be downloading the NHS app unless and until it switches to the decentralised Apple/Google model.
