Google is finally adding a speedometer to Google Maps on iPhone
At 30mph (13.4m/s) the current GPS error should be such that it’s more accurate than a car’s speedo which is affected by simple things like tyre pressure and is normally set too low to protect the manufacturer with various country laws whereby a speedometer cannot read high, only low.Yes, at running speed, you’re not travelling fast enough so you’ll get errors, but there’s a reason that when doing speed tests, they use GPS systems. -

UK, Ireland get Apple Maps Look Around, cycling directions
Extremely disappointed that they haven’t fixed the plane guidance problems for the UK! Basically, here most junctions come off the left hand lane, but apple maps shows an additional, none existent lane, that becomes the off-ramp. Very rarely do they show the off-ramp arrow off the side of the left hand lane. I was really hoping they’d have sorted this out with their own maps! -
Apple previews iMac Pro, the most powerful Mac ever built, coming in December
lorin schultz said:Do we think the keyboard shown in the sneak preview is real? It *looked* like a wireless keyboard with a full number pad, but maybe the cable was just excluded from the photo for aesthetic reasons. If it's a space grey wireless with number pad, SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
