Apple's 'Crush' iPad Pro ad sparks intense backlash from creatives
I’m a creative and never would have seen any slight in this. In fact, it’s kind of clever in the same way that it’s like the 1984 commercial throwing a hammer through the legacy ways of computing… this new iPad is throwing down a new tool for all those artistic pursuits. And the very nature of art, we should all agree, is to make one think, feel enlightened, or see something in a different way. This ad does that. -

Apple Vision Pro can be used in public, but mind your manners
tobian said:No matter how usable VP is in public space, since it is able to record the screen - thus to record me, but not giving a clue about it (you saw the video? the old guy seemed uncomfortable next to him, naturaly), I will be asking VP wearers to put the headset off the head. If they won’t comply and would continue pointing their head in inappropriate wide angle towards me (which is almost 180deg) I’ll put VP off their head myself.
I don’t see public use of Vision Pro acceptable. -
Apple's iPhone parts pairing is making the company billions
I have no problem with this. I want my Apple product to work exactly as it was designed, and a sub-par part could compromise a lot. For example, what if a camera or Touch ID sensor pays a part in causing the security protections to fail? Data could be lost/stolen and who get the blame? Me as a consumer because I cheaped out? The scond-rate part manufacturer? Or Apple? (hint... one of those three has a lot more money than the other two, and the lawyers know it.) -
