These Marantz and Denon receivers are AirPlay 2 compatible

In fact now I think about it, even an extra Apple TV 4 dedicated to Audio would be cheaper than replacing a high end Receiver that lacked Airplay2.
Maybe WWDC will lean into AirPlay 2 & HomeKit? There may be an opportunity for an Apple hardware product based on AirPlay 2. I'm not sure I'd bet on it, though.
My thought is that the typical go-to HomeKit vendors will jump on AirPlay 2 since it seems to be managed via HomeKit. Maybe Elgato (makers of Eve devices), Koogeek or iHome?
the articles lists ATV4 as an AP2 source selection option, similar to other newer Apple devices, and says that an ATV will work as an AP2 receiver - probably just wishful thinking that ATV3’s could be useful once again as an AP2 receiver -

Dell XPS 13 9370 vs. Apple's 13-inch MacBook Pro, the ultimate comparison
I’m a 2017 MBP owner that hates the keyboard ... Ive tried to like it but every time I borrow my kids MBA I’m like “whoa”.
Something tells me Apple is working on a MBP update/fix (at least one can hope, I suppose), as why else would they let Best Buy blow out the current models so cheaply last week? $1799 for the 13” - $350 discount - $50 student discount = $1399
