  • Apple removes fake review identifier from App Store following Amazon complaint [u]

Apple should not have to host any app they don't like in their app store.

Apple should not be allowed to prevent me from installing any app I like on MY iPhone.

There's a very simple solution here.  Apple MUST be forced to allow device owners to install software from any source they choose.  It's the same issue in the Epic case, I would never suggest that Apple should be forced to host Epic's software, but if Epic wants to distribute software outside of Apple's app store, any mechanism Apple uses to prevent that is clearly and blatantly an illegal abuse of their monopoly of the iOS software market.

It's time for antitrust law to come down HARD on Apple.

Every think you are talking about already exist.
“There's a very simple solution here”: Just buy an Android en your problem would be solved.
Can you imagine, that there are also people who are buying iPhone, just because of Apple’s hosting of every app on its AppStore?

It sounds like a music in my ears!

    I hate personalized ads.
Those arrogant privacy-data thieves are pretending,

  • Apple wants 'Apple Car' batteries made in US, claims report

So let me get this right…

    1. Ship raw materials to the US.
    2. Make batteries.
    3. Ship batteries to Far East.
    4. Make Apple Car.
    5. Ship cars to US.

So much for EVs saving the planet 🤔

Who says, Apple Car will be made in Far East and not in US facilities?

    Very happy with the no_deal_news.
Any dependence on even a single  China’s company, it’s one too much

You also say Apple didn’t invent the smart watch. Who would you give that title to? I would say either Apple with the iPod Watch or Casio with their calculator watches. Still a funny different standard.
Nah, of the big companies Sony, LG, Samsung and Qualcomm all released smartwatches before Apple.

I would argue that the first smartwatch distributed more widely than as an oddity would be the Pebble which shipped to Kickstarter backers in early 2013.
All those companies just rushed to be first, because of the already ten years long going on rumors, about
    Apple working on a smartwatch.
All those watches were premature and underdeveloped.
So they were first but with kind of unusable toy-watches.
And that is the difference with Apple
