Australian man alleges all of his iOS and macOS devices have been persistently hacked
hammeroftruth said:lkrupp said:So is this all leading up to this bozo suing Apple? It sure sounds like it does to me.There are some cases of cyberstalking out there that are legit, but this sounds like Simon has some mental issues. If there are any current or former Apple employees that post here, I’m sure they can tell you similar stories of people who have mental issues and think they are being hacked. They could also tell you similar stories of people who were hacked by their exes.
Just be thankful to have good mental health.
I have a friend of mine with the same problem although there is nothing wrong with he’s phone -
FDA approves first iOS app to control insulin pump
GeorgeBMac said:One more step forward in the struggle with insulin dependent diabetes....People who can't produce (enough) insulin need all the help we (or Apple) can give them. Now all we have to do is make it so they can afford the insulin they need to stay alive without forcing them to move to another country. And now, an Apple Watch able to measure the blood sugar level…….. -
Senate Judiciary advances bill that would force Apple to allow iOS side-loading
lkrupp said:waveparticle said:OutdoorAppDeveloper said:Suggestion to Apple: Get ahead of this massive security problem. If anyone can side load any app they want onto their iOS device, that puts every other app at risk from data theft and other hacks. To get around this start working right now on an alternative version of iOS that users can install if they want to, much like the beta profiles you have now. The alternative side loading open iOS has no Apple App Store. It has no access to iCloud, CloudKit or any other technology that could become compromised by apps that have not been through the app review process. Most iOS users (myself included) will opt for the secure version of iOS for their primary devices. For older, otherwise unused devices, the alternative open but unsecure iOS will be a lot of fun to play with. Think of it as another form of recycling. The open iOS does no not need to be updated as often as the main secure version because (duh) it's not secure. And the crazyest thing is, that everyone is forcing Apple for iOS side loading except the Apple’s users! What for an absurd is this?! -
Motor Trend reimagines the 'Apple Car,' sees autonomous rideshare in Apple's future

Whatever Apple is working on will be revolutionary and the usual haters will be out in full force.

If and when this car ever sees the light of day I'm anxious to see the interface. Tesla has been doing a pretty good job of effing their interface up and could use a bit of comeuppance from Apple!I’m talking about the principe. You are comparing here Apple Car with Tesla, just like you have already could see Apple Car.Everything in the article above are speculations………Remember? No one knows jet, how Apple Car will really looks like. But for me, it has been always fine to know, that there are people, doing their best, to make the things beter -
Google kills FLoC & will stick with cookies because of privacy complaints

I don't care what they come up with next, as long as users have the right to refuse and not be grouped into any targeted advertising schemes whatsoever. Their business model is not my problem. I won't use a browser designed to make advertising easier at the cost of my interests.Google services are the last thing,
I’ll ever consider to use
