You are wrong Mr. Gurman. Facebook is competing only for one thing: the privacy data of the user. Zuckerberg is trying desperately to eliminate every Apple’s hardware, by creating his own copy of it. In this way he is hoping to avoid Apple’s restrictions on privacy. 

Don’t forget: The business model of Facebook is based on stealing the privacy data of the users.

Open your eyes. Look around. Without China, Apple cannot make so many iPhones for the whole world people to use. Apple and TSMC made enough sales to bring better and better smartphones to the world each year. Sure, Apple can make phones outside China. Then these places will not be able to produce same number of phones as in China. Intel falls behind TSMC because it cannot sell enough core chips to support more R&D and equipment purchases.

There is a huge difference between research, design and creating something, and only the production of this ‘something’.

If Apple didn't created  the iPhone, the people who are working now for Apple in China, might not have a job at all.

The judge in the Rittenhouse case declared that the prosecution had to prove that Apple didn't manipulate videos of the shootings!  It's one thing to do all he can to get that vigilante murderer off scott free but putting the onus on the prosecution to prove Apple didn't manipulate the videos?  Not even Apple could prove that kind of negative!   It sounds like this judge should just change seats with the defense attorneys!
