Epic's Tim Sweeney calls Google 'crazy,' says 'Apple must be stopped'
AppleInsider said:
According to Bloomberg, Sweeney sayshe is working with developers and unspecified service providers to make an app store that would mean users could "buy software in one place, knowing that they'd have it on all devices and all platforms."Does Sweeney realize that, in order to do that, he has to create an own hardware platform first? Or maybe he thinks that Apple is a charity company?
And does he realizes that Epic has also monopoly in its own game business?
What's wrong then with Apple’s monopoly in its own Appp Store?
He is indeed a cheap jerk.

Lawsuit targets Apple's iOS App Store 'monopoly'
OutdoorAppDeveloper said:Another wrong headed anti-monopoly lawsuit. That 30% developer fee is not the main problem. It is actually quite reasonable especially now it is only 15% for small developers (which is the vast majority of us). The real issue is the lack of choice you as consumers have in iOS and the fact that you don't even know what you are missing since the majority of new app ideas are killed in the cradle because "Apple would never approve that." The problem has become so bad that it is actually wrecking the software development industry. The worst example is the Apple Watch which has such a limited, highly restrictive SDK that developers are limited to a very small number of use cases as dreamed up by Apple. What was the last game you played on your Apple watch? Why is that?
Isn't it waste of time and knowledge for a developer, who is trying to create a game for an Apple Watch?
And how am I suppose to play?...... With one hand?.....No thanks!.....
I have therefore my iPhone, iPad and MBP -
Apple, Meta on 'collision course' in wearables, home, and AR markets
AppleInsider said:
“However, Gurman posits that the rivalry will heat up when both companies begin competing in other spaces.”You are wrong Mr. Gurman. Facebook is competing only for one thing: the privacy data of the user. Zuckerberg is trying desperately to eliminate every Apple’s hardware, by creating his own copy of it. In this way he is hoping to avoid Apple’s restrictions on privacy.
Don’t forget: The business model of Facebook is based on stealing the privacy data of the users.

White House shot down Intel plans to increase chip production in China
waveparticle said:viclauyyc said:waveparticle said:The chip shortage will continue under Biden administration. Companies will not manufacture chips in US. They cannot make money. If they try to raise prices they need to double or triple the prices. And this route is not working. Democrats have no concept of capitalism.Isn’t the orange man also push to make things in USA and move the production line back home? I guess he don’t meant it. After all, his MEGA hat and other trump products are made in China.Biden should not pushing the “Buy American Provision”, what do he knows about capitalism, right? Just get things from China and it is all good. Please stop your bullshit!
You have no idea what you're talking about
There is a huge difference between research, design and creating something, and only the production of this ‘something’.
If Apple didn't created the iPhone, the people who are working now for Apple in China, might not have a job at all.
So don't tell me: “Without China, ....blah,.... blah....blah...”

Apple's settlement with Qualcomm precludes it from invalidating patents, court decides
GeorgeBMac said:qwerty52 said:Don’t know why, I have the feeling that Apple needs to replace all the lawyers they have.(Not only because of this case)... Or maybe we should replace these crazy politicized, biased judges?...... Courtrooms seem to have more ideology, politics & bias than congress lately. The judge in the Rittenhouse case declared that the prosecution had to prove that Apple didn't manipulate videos of the shootings! It's one thing to do all he can to get that vigilante murderer off scott free but putting the onus on the prosecution to prove Apple didn't manipulate the videos? Not even Apple could prove that kind of negative! It sounds like this judge should just change seats with the defense attorneys! And why should they (or anybody) have to disprove something so ridiculous?Somebody (in this case the defense attorney) makes some crazy claim and others need to respond to it?But you can not make first an agreement and then try to appeal it….,,,
