Bungie's 'Myth' resurrected by fans for modern Mac gamers

Mac gaming staple 'Marathon' is being resurrected by Bungie and Sony
hammeroftruth said:This is going to be interesting because a lot of Marathon’s soul went into Halo BEFORE Microsoft bought Bungie and fucked it up. It’s ironic because it appears they did that after Steve Jobs showed it during a Macworld keynote. I wonder if Microsoft will sue Sony if it’s just Halo for the PS.Btw I still have all my Marathon CDs and Myth too. Loved Marathon’s intro music! -
Lost bag with AirTag saga is over -- but United still hasn't explained itself
I actually had a similar experience happen to me a couple years ago. I left my iPad on Delta flight in Orlando. I called Delta to let them know I left it and they said they would look for it. I started tracking it and watched it leave the airport through a service road and stop in a parking lot just outside the airport. I sent a message to my iPad saying I can see you have my iPad. As soon as I sent the message it turned around and came right back the way it had come and then sat in a random part of the airport by one of the stores. Meanwhile I was on the phone with customer service telling them all of this. They said sorry we can’t find it, we don’t know what happened. I kept telling them I can see it right where it is. They still said sorry can’t find it.Next day I get a call from them saying they found it and would overnight it. I tried to press them for an explanation but they wouldn’t give one to me.Airlines can be a mess sometimes. -
iPhone 12 active user base grew faster than iPhone 11, despite later start
Not trying to sound to obvious here but when one of the major carriers (AT&T) offers $700 off an iPhone 12 for new and existing customers as compared with only offering $300 for existing customers on the iPhone 11 last year, it’s not super surprising that the iPhone 12 has significantly more market share. -
