Apple TV+ drama 'Invasion' gets trailer, debuts October 22
There are PLENTY of sci-fi movies where the aliens “invade” and aren’t big scary monsters here to destroy us. Happy to provide a list. Do you want them to stop making this sub-genre completely? If so, that’s a different argument. But to imply that this is the only thing that we get in the genre, is false. As for the quality, nobody knows because it’s not out, but the creators behind it deserve some benefit as The Martian was fantastic.williamlondon said:Violent aliens invade, what an original story. Will most likely watch because sci-fi is so rare, even rarer are good, original sci-fi productions. Just would like to see some variation on the same theme already done many times over.

That’s great. Some of us wanted to get a tiny discount while also maybe supporting our favorite Apple news site. There was no disclaimer saying “only buy photo gear from this company, not Apple products.” Next time I’ll look for one.jeffharris said:

Spending time with HomePod mini and why we're already hooked
Great to see people got theirs. What about those of us who ordered on the 6th through Apple Insider because of the $10 discount you advertised through Adorama? They emailed on 8th saying they were backordered, and a subsequent email reply sent by myself yesterday was answered essentially with a “we don’t know when we’re going to be able to get the item”. Just wondering if anyone at AI has any answers or if anyone who ordered through AI is having same issue?

Explain please. How is it “better”? That sounds pretty subjective. Like someone saying Matisse is “better” than Van Gogh. You may like something better, but that’s a different argument. No idea how it’s “better” when I can’t use my 20 year iTunes library of music I’ve collected that I transferred to iTunes on it. I don’t see any radio shows like the ones Apple Music has. I’ll give Spotify one edge, and that that’s their use of analytics at the end of the year showing what I’ve listened to, but even Apple has started that and I hope to see it improve from last year. Yes, I use both services, so I’m not in any troll wars. But I’m pretty objective when I say that I think Apple Music is overall better when the plusses and minuses are compared.
