  • Triple-camera iPad Pro, 'iPhone SE 2' Touch ID, HomeKit improvements appear in 'iOS 14' le...

Details about the "iPhone SE 2" were also seemingly claimed, with the model said to sport Touch ID rather than using Face ID as previously rumored, along with adding support for Express Transit.
I'm not exactly sure what the section in bold above (emphasis added) is referring too.  The original iPhone SE and, indeed all iPhones starting with the 6S, have supported this feature.
Perhaps they are referring to the Express Transit cards with power reserve feature that debuted with the iPhone XS and XR.  This feature "enables you to quickly pay for rides and is available for up to five hours when your iPhone needs to be charged."

  • PencilKit in iPadOS 14 will allow Apple Pencil text recognition in almost any app

This will really push the usefulness of the Pencil forward for "the rest of us".  The pencil is already great for people in the visual arts and production realms; for me as someone who doesn't do any visual production (photos, design, drafting, etc.), the pencil hasn't been as useful as I'd hoped.

I like it for taking notes, but I needed to buy a note taking app that would turn my scribbles into text so that I could read what I wrote later.  I would love the ability to get some light writing (like outlining or short one page documents) done with the pencil in Pages since my note taking app is poorly suited for creating documents.

A big advantage that the pencil would bring over a keyboard is mobility for document creation.  It is much easier to write in bed or on a bus or park bench with a pencil in one hand and the iPad in another than it is with a keyboard that needs some sort of stable, flat surface for stability.  I really hope this rumor pans out!

  • Apple Watch 'Series 6,' 'watchOS 7' may have shareable faces, kid modes

Why when I was a kid we had to use a sun dial to tell the time.
And we had to make our own, out of dinosaur bones — after killing the dinosaur ourselves.
You guys had it so easy.  We had to hunt the dinosaurs in places that were always up-hill from the village. We’d trudge 20 miles through the snow to the hunting grounds, which wasn’t easy because we hadn’t evolved legs yet and just waddled on our flippers. After we made the kill using only our bare hands (tools still haven’t been invented you see) then we had to waddle the same 20 miles back up-hill (again) to return to the village while carrying the bones on our shirtless backs in the blistering heat.

  • Hands on with the 2019 10.2-inch seventh generation iPad

Under the battery row in the comparison, AI might consider adding quick charge capability. According to the Apple website for the 30w charger, this new 7th gen iPad is capable while the others, of course, are not.

  • Apple's new tvOS 13 for Apple TV is now available

I thought I’d post this for anyone having difficulties adding a user to the AppleTV via the home app. When you go into settings and add a user TVOS points out that if you manually add a user to the AppleTV then you have to do it on every AppleTV you own (a pain if you have more than one). If you add users via the Home app then they will be automatically and simultaneously added to all AppleTVs added to your home. Since this seemed way more convenient (with multiple AppleTVs), I tried this method.
What it doesn’t tell you is that the other user has to have all of their iOS devices updated to iOS13.1/iPadOS13.1 and that you have to open the home app at least once on one of their devices. Then they get the option to add themselves.
A device that is registered to the Home owner (master account?) has an option to add other users to the AppleTV but it is greyed out until the user’s other devices are updated to iOS13.1 and their home app has been opened. This will likely get smoothed out in a future update because it makes no sense that the master account only add others if they have opened the Home app thereby having had a chance to just add themselves.
