I had the series 1 and didn’t wear it all that often. It was a nice watch but really wasn’t all that useful. I bought the series 3 with cellular and it’s a whole new game. I love the watch and everything about it. The watch works flawlessly without my iPhone anywhere near. I text using Siri and the phone calls are clear as well. I’m anxious to see the new series 4 but I’ll wait and see if it will be worthwhile to upgrade again so soon.

The volume control can be accomplished using Siri. Just double tap and ask Siri to raise or lower the volume. 

I opted to purchase the simple molded silicone case for my AirPods. It doesn’t attach to anything but it protects the sleek plastic charger case. It fits in my pocket although it doesn’t just slide in and out. I love my AirPods and wouldn’t want anything different ( until Apple comes up with something better). I am not someone who is careless and am always extremely careful not to lose them. I don’t believe it necessary to spend $30 for such an overkill item as a heavy leather case.

Siri is still the novelty toy it always was. It’s accuracy level is terrible at best. Why improve on the tasks available when the app is so hit and miss to begin with? I use it occasionally to send messages while I’m driving but that in itself is distracted driving just trying to get Siri to understand the message I’m trying to send. I love Apple and I love my iPhone but Siri and I aren’t even friends.
