  • New Apple Car rumor suggests 2026 debut at less than $100,000

Same rumour that said it would come out in ‘22, and ‘20, and ‘18, and ‘16, and…

  • Apple engaged in illegal anti-union tactics, finds labor board

When it was just random accusations from those engaging in failed unionization efforts, I could shrug it off. Consider the source.
But this is the agency that defines what is legal and illegal. Now that the NLRB has agreed that Apple has engaged in illegal anti union tactics, that changes things. That is seriously uncool. Apple needs to step up and admit they f-ed up, and work to redress the wrongs. Sadly, I fear that todays modern, giant Apple Corp is likely not capable of doing this.

  • iMac could have been made without a chin, proves new hack

iMac could have been made without a chin, proves new hack

That was the headline. But of course there really was never a question as to if they could. The question was if they should, and for many reasons Apple designers decided against it.

  • Coinbase doesn't want to pay Apple for in-app NFT transfers

What I don't get is why anyone would buy an NFT. Or any cryptocurrency either, for that matter. These are derivatives with no inherent value, produce nothing, and can't be used for anything. They're just a vehicle for the "greater fool theory." You, the fool, overpay for some worthless item, and then starts the desperate search for the "greater fool," who is willing to overpay more than you, to sell it to.

This is not a strategy for long term wealth building. In the words of the late shadow president, Nancy Reagan, "Just Say No." Then go out and find great companies with a history of growing earnings and increasing dividends. Like Apple or Microsoft or Lockheed Martin.
Agreed. When Bitcoin first appeared I looked into it. I soon realized they were imaginary bags of nothing that people held while they looked for a sucker to buy them. The sad part is that blockchain is a good technology. Unfortunately it’s been so tainted by fraudsters and the greedy stupid, that I doubt that it will ever be used for anything good.

  • Kanye West confused about banks, Apple Pay, and FCC

To everyone thinking he is mentally unstable - what I don't understand is that you repeat this claim, which is made in the media, but you do not check if it is actually true.

There are many 1 hour+ podcasts online where Ye recently spoke with people. Like in the last month.

In these hours, Kanye comes across as someone who is a genius. Most people don't understand what he's saying because he's so far ahead, and because he picks up so much that people are oblivious about.

You can agree or disagree with what he is saying but there is no question he is sharp and awake.

When he was on Rogan, that was different, he was still pumped full of drugs that time. He was near death. But now, he's alive and aware. A truth speaker if there ever was one. Unlike other people he is not intimidated, and he doesn't back down.
I have dealt with some mental health issues. I know people who have dealt with mental health issues much more severe than i have. West is mentally ill.
Someone can be mentally ill and in need of help, and still be lucid. Many mentally ill people can be inspiring speakers, that can sound like they make sense. But just because he is awake and sounds sharp, doesn’t change the facts that are obvious to many; he is in desperate need of an intervention, and psychological care. Without that, and it likely would require hospitalization, West is going downhill with no brakes. The end won’t be pretty, or inspiring, just sad. Especially so because it doesn’t have to happen
