    What in the world is this nonsense?  Musk's price was based on Twitter's numbers being "real" and the SEC's job to check if what is being claimed is real.  As "Sources: SEC Didn’t Keep a Close Watch on Enron" shows "The agency (SEC) relies mostly on private-sector accountants, investors and even the news media to bring serious problems to its attention."
    That’s making the assumption that Musk was ever actually planning to buy Twitter, and that it wasn’t just another stock manipulation grift.

    This being a very elaborate pump and dump is still on the table.
    He may have to pay a BN but if he makes a few BN from the stock manipulation he’d come out ahead. 
    EDIT: Now that I think of it, if the financing falls through he might not have to pay. That would explain why he’s made several moves to depress the value of the Tesla stock he’s using as collateral.

    No it’s a stupid design. No other wireless mouse has this. There are hundreds of other mice that can be used while charging. This was a breathtakingly stupid choice.
