    Out of curiosity I checked out the price of their treadmills. (I don’t have a bike, but I do have a treadmill). Are they out of their mind? Easily three times the cost of the high end NordicTrac model I have. Admittedly I got mine fifteen years ago but they haven’t gone up that much. 

    And no I don’t need some overly eager person encouraging me to work harder. I hated that sort of thing n in high school PE class and I sure as H don’t have any interest in that now. I’m on my treadmill for an hour six days a week and Its all going fine.

    The trouble wasn’t  Tumblr. It’s been that Apple kept getting absurdly puritanical on them for some reason. They seem to let the same content and worse slide for Twitter and Reddit and such, but OMG if there was any way for anyone to see a boob on Tumblr it must be banned from the AppStore. I honestly don’t know what Apple’s problem was. There’s been the ability to block NSFW content for a long time.

    The headset does not yet exist. Indeed it hasn’t been clearly defined beyond rumours and wishes.
    The Metaverse does not yet exist. Indeed it hasn’t even been clearly defined beyond generalities and marketing hand waving. 

    The idea that two things that are not defined and don’t yet exist might not work together doesn’t really worry me.

  • Apple releases iOS 15.2 & iPadOS 15.2 with legacy contacts, Apple Music Voice, more

    I updated everything even though little of it is of interest. Don’t use AirTags, don’t have kids, snd have no interest in Apple Music, voice or otherwise. Mostly did it because it bugs me to have the Update Available flag sitting there. And for any security patches.
