Does anyone you know actually have a FB app of any sort installed on their phone, Apple or otherwise? If I have to go there for some family thing, I use a browser. I use a FB container in Firefox to visit that site. Even then, I get ads from places that FB should have no idea about. Scum.

Sheer stupidity. Let's move to two cramped, congested areas and compete for talent/space/housing. Were it me, I'd have went with Columbus OH, Bloomington/Normal IL, Memphis TN. Places that would value the investment, have room/roads/housing/universities and little competition for talent.

A USB mic it is. I have nice speakers already. I'm going to try the integrated graphics, but can always add an eGPU if needed. Also going to use a USB-C to USB-3 adapter cable to connect an external USB-3 hard drive for backup/transfers. If that isn't fast enough then I'll find a TB3 enclosure. While I'd like the pricing to be lower (of course), I don't see it as excessive because of the long support I'll get with the system. Many other computers I've had don't even update the drivers after the first 6 months leaving me to go site to site to get updates. I'm taking the AppleCare+ on this though.

How do you get voice into the Mini? I see only a headphone jack.

I have had a 6+, 7+, 8+ and this year, XS Just don't see the point in a huge phone after having had 3. Back to the comfort of a smaller, more usable phone and quite happy with the choice.
